Quarry

🪨Quarries are small but useful monuments designed for automatic resource extraction. They can usually be found in open areas of the map. There are three types:

  • Stone Quarry (produces stone and metal ore)
  • Sulfur Quarry (produces sulfur ore)
  • HQM Quarry (produces high quality metal ore)

 

📌 General Information about the Monument

 

🧱 Structure of the Monument

A quarry is a compact mining installation located in a depression among rocks and cliffs. The structure stands on a roughly nailed wooden platform, equipped with ladders, walkways, and fencing.

The central area includes:

  • a rotating belt with buckets that extract resources from the ground;
  • a large metal container where extracted materials are dumped;
  • blue barrels with fuel hoses leading to a generator — this is where diesel fuel is added.

Quarries are often fortified with tool cupboards, surrounded by walls, and fitted with turrets to fully control the mining process.

⛽️ Efficiency of One Can of Diesel Fuel

Each quarry runs for 2 minutes and 10 seconds per one unit of diesel fuel. During this time, it produces:

🔸 How to Find

On the map, quarries appear as small craters with the name of the resource being extracted.

🔸 How to Use:

  1. Approach the quarry
  2. Load diesel fuel into the blue barrels
  3. Climb the ladder and activate the generator
  4. Wait 2 minutes 10 seconds per 1 diesel
  5. Collect resources from the metal container on the side

Oil Pump

Among the passive ways to farm resources, you can also use the Oil Pump — a compact mechanism for extracting crude oil and low grade fuel.

You can find it at major monuments such as:

  • Power Plant
  • Train Yard
  • Water Treatment Plant

 

One diesel fuel unit yields:

  • Crude Oil: +60 units
  • Low Grade Fuel: +170 units
